Hello there! I'm Sydney, the creator of Made in the Grove. I created the platform to highlight my handmade products ranging from stickers to sewn purses. I could only gift my family so much :) and decided to create a space where I can share my enjoyment with others. I hope you enjoy exploring the site! Thank you for stopping by!
My Story
I graduated college with a Computation Mathematics degree in 2021 and was lucky enough to jump straight into the workforce as a Software Developer. I was never someone to be extremely outgoing and sociable. A few months after starting my job I realized I had to fill my free time or else I might die or a boring life. I have been lucky enough to have family members who are very crafty and started learning how to sew from them. I also began learning how to knit and crochet via Youtube and have enjoyed it ever since. My favorite part of this hobby has been gifting and creating personalized pieces for my family and friends. My husband definitely has received enough bags and beanies and convinced me to create a space where I can share what I enjoy with everyone else. Outside of my listed catalog I always enjoy working with people to create personalized pieces.
